Creative Enclosures Adds a Curved Eave Sunroom in Woodstock, CT
November 15, 2010Creative Enclosures’ clients in Woodstock, CT, added a 10’9″ x 18’8″ Curved Eave Four Seasons Elegant Living Sunroom to their house.
Creative Enclosures dug out and prepared a new foundation for the sunroom, then installed the Four Seasons Sunrooms signature enamel-coated aluminum framework with matching white window frames and exterior sliding door with screen.
One of the many benefits of purchasing a Four Seasons Sunroom is that it features high-performance Conserva-Glass. For this project, the roof panels were tinted with a dark tint to protect against the sun and the side panels had a lighter tint for better visibility.
Four Season Sunrooms’ proprietary Conserva-Glass deflects up to 85 percent of the sun’s solar heat keeping the room comfortable in the summer and warmer in the winter months due to its highest R-value (thermal resistance) in the industry. Since Conserva-Glass is 100 percent tempered glass, it is not only energy-efficient and strong, but also keeps occupants safe by blocking out 90 percent of Ultraviolet rays — and reduces fading of upholstery and carpeting.

Creative Enclosures Completes Waterford (CT) Client’s Home Renovations
July 23, 2010Creative Enclosures recently completed work on clients home in Waterford, CT. We upgraded their home with a new 15′ x 21′ custom sunroom addition, updated their front entrance with a stoop cover and replaced old siding, windows and doors with more energy efficient models (that qualify for the Federal Tax Credit).

After removing the previous deck on the back of the house, Creative Enclosures’ skilled craftsmen framed and built a 15′ x 21′ custom sunroom addition.
Once the framework and wiring were done, the walls were sheet-rocked and painted, while the ceiling was wainscoted, stained and urethaned to match the new windows and doors. CE polished off the interior work with a ceramic tile floor and an oak wood step from the previous interior space into the new sunroom.

Additionally, CE built a gable roof over the front door to cover the entrance way and create a more welcoming entrance. The new entrance cover is supported by maintenance free Colonial turned posts with a white vinyl rail system. The gable roof is trimmed out with CertainTeed Cedar Impressions.

To polish off the home upgrades, Creative Enclosures replaced the vinyl siding on the whole house, changed out a circle top window in the upper bonus room and swapped out the original garage doors with two new insulated ones.
